Quote

  • This quote is valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified or agreed upon. Sign On reserves the right to adjust this quote if there are significant movements in the price of underlying materials purchased to manufacture your signs.

Payment Terms

Jobs over $1000 and no account 

  • A 50% deposit is required, and a deposit invoice will be sent once you have accepted this quote. Note no work will commence until payment of the deposit has been made.

Jobs under $1000 and no account 

  • Full payment prior to commencement of work is required and an invoice will be sent to you once you have accepted this quote. Note no work will commence until payment of the deposit has been made.

Account clients

  • Please note that our payment terms are not superseded by those of your own company. The payment terms we quote on are those with which we wish to trade.

Payment options and terms

  • We accept cash, EFT,Visa or Mastercard. Payment terms are as quoted if the client does not adhere to the production schedule and the project is delayed, Sign On Group reserves the right to claim progress payments.

Debt recovery costs and penalties for late payment

  • All debt recovery costs will be at the expense of the purchaser. All goods remain the property of the Sign On Group until paid for. A penalty surcharge of 10% will be levied on all overdue accounts. Sign On Group reserves the right to register any outstanding debts on the Personal Properties security Register.

Artwork

  • Sign On Group requires vectorised EPS versions of your company logo and relevant artwork along with a style guide if available.
  • No Production will commence until correct artwork is provided and no production will commence until approval of the artwork is received in writing.
  • Any requested design revisions beyond the initial For Construction will not be included and may incur additional charges.
  • Any artwork supplied by Sign On Group is owned by Sign On Group and cannot be copied or reproduced in part or in full without written permission from Sign On Group. While in the preliminary stages of design several drafts of artwork for the client’s signs may be produced, once the final design has been chosen, only the final design will be kept on our system. Any other drafts are the copyright of Sign On Group and will be archived in our system.
  • Copying copyrighted artwork can result in fees for artwork or other compensation.
  • Only the client approved artwork will be produced. If there are any errors or omissions in this approved artwork, then the cost of reproduction will be at the client’s expense. Once the artwork and the quote are approved you agree to our terms and conditions of sale and instruct us to proceed with this proposal as per the approved artwork.
  • Artwork is charged at $00plus GST per hour including any changes being made. An artwork checking fee of $75.00 plus GST per file. By accepting this quote, you acknowledge that artwork costs will be borne by you. If your artwork is not sufficient for printing it will be returned to you for changes.
  • Colours will be matched as closely as possible to corporate colors.

Insurance

  • Workers Compensation insurance is covered for all our trades people and office staff. We have public liability insurance to A$20,000,000.

Material Warranty

  • All metal and paint workmanship are covered by a 12-month guarantee; all additional materials and components in our quote are covered by the manufacture warranty. Globes and fluorescent lamps are not included. After 12 months the warranty is as per the manufacturer’s product warranty and does not include the cost of re manufacture, removal or installation. Sign on takes no responsibility for thermal breakage when tinting laminated glass.

Warranty Exclusions

  • The warranty provided by Sign On does not cover damages or defects caused by:
  • Misuse, abuse, or negligence, including improper maintenance,
  • Accidents, natural disasters, acts of vandalism, or unauthorized modifications.
  • Failure to follow the O&M instructions, guidelines,
  • Power surges, electrical fluctuations, or improper electrical supply.
  • Usage in environments exceeding the recommended temperature, humidity, or environmental conditions. 

Digital Disclaimer

  • Indoor/Outdoor LCD Solution Disclaimer:
  • All screens will come with a standard controller unless specified
  • All screens are rear service only unless specified
  • The following exclusions apply concrete footings, electrical and data lead in cabling, council permits or approvals & engineering certification.
  • Build time is estimated at (Agreed) number of weeks depending on model. All delivery estimates are subject to availability of parts and shipping services.
  • LCD screen orientation does not affect price but does impact production time. Failure to confirm screen orientation may result in delays.
  • Product specification/pricing subject to change without notice
  • 4G modem excluded
  • Fusion / CMS pricing on a separate line item

Specific assumptions and allowances

Induction 

  • Our price does not include any induction fees or time. Any induction expenses or security demands will be charged in addition to our quoted costs.
  • If security is required on site during any stage of the installation this cost has not been included in the quote and will be charged as additional to the client.

Site Preparation and Access

  • In preparing submissions from provided documentation, no site visit will be undertaken. Information as provided in the tender has been the core base for all costs.
  • The installation site will be prepared and ready for signage installation. Any site preparation work, such as cleaning, excavation, or structural modifications, is excluded.
  • It is assumed that any access equipment (cherry pickers, HIAB, cranes) quoted for sign installation will be able to access the sign location(s) from the nearest paved or sealed surface. Access to the site must be available as and when required. If we are required to come back to the site at an alternative time after agreeing timeframes then additional costs will be incurred.
  • There are no access restrictions or limitations at the installation site. Any additional equipment, permits, or efforts required to overcome access issues are not included.

Measurements

  • All pricing is based upon measurements provided in site surveys. Where these have not been provided, dimensions are as assumed and detailed in the quote or site-specific pricing schedules provided. Should these dimensions vary pricing will be affected accordingly.
  • Site inspections will be undertaken after appointment to reconfirm all details prior to manufacture as required. This will be quoted for and billed upon completion of the works.

Working Hours

  • All works are carried out during normal business hours – 7am – 4pm Monday – Friday, unless stated in the quote

Installation

  • Installation will take place under normal weather conditions. Delays due to adverse weather conditions that are beyond reasonable control are not considered part of the quoted timeline.
  • Any challenging or non-standard installation conditions that were not visible at the time of survey may result in extra charges.
  • The installation site does not contain hidden obstacles, structural issues, or hazardous materials that could impact the installation process. Any additional work required to address unforeseen conditions is excluded.
  • Standard shipping and freight costs from Osborne Park are included in our quote.
  • Our quote does not include the hire of any elevated work platform unless specifically stated.
  • Our price assumes that all surfaces for which a digital print is to be applied are prepared prior to the installation team arriving on site. All glazing receiving prints and decals are cleaned and prepared prior to the installation team arriving on site. Failure to do so may incur additional costs should Sign On have to complete this.

Electrical

  • Any required electrical work, including power outlets, data cabling and wiring, is already in place and functional. Additional electrical work required for signage installation is excluded. – unless stated in the quote

Other fees

  • Third-party services, including EWP & scaffolding are excluded from the quote and any other such as security personnel, are not included. These services would be arranged and paid for separately by the client.
  • Council fees, engineer’s drawings, shut down of power, covering of power lines, provision of spotters and traffic management fees or charges other than specified in the quote will be charged as an extra cost.
  • We do not guarantee Council applications will be approved.

Reinstatement works

  • Digging of holes for concrete footings may remove or damage associated gardens / grass. We will tidy and make good the area but are not responsible for the replacement of gardens or grass. No allowance has been made for reinstatement works.

Structural integrity

  • We have assumed that all existing sign structures and buildings have the required structural integrity to support the new signage.

Part orders

  • Pricing has been submitted on the full scope of work being awarded in its entirety if only part of a quote is ordered for signage the price may increase.

Variations

  • During a job, changes to the scope of the work may occur. If this is the case, changes to the design construction or fixing details either prior to commencement or during manufacture must be communicated in writing by the client and may incur additional costs.

COVID 19

  • NOTE: No costs have been included in this quote that may be required based on Government guidelines and legislation regarding Covid 19. If this changes, we will advise you of any cost and timing completion implications.
